Outdoor Wood Concepts® is a division (and registered trademark) of Houtmagazijn
Verdonckt N.V., which manufactures and sells stylish, contemporary solutions for
outdoor use in solid wood: façade cladding, terraces and garden fencing. Their products
are distributed by a network of wholesalers. Roel Vandebeek is an all-round designer
who set up his own design agency Beek Design in late 1996. Since then he has
worked for both Belgian and international companies from a wide range of sectors.
His designs are carefully thought-out and timeless. The end results are original products
with a touch of humour.
Woodface ®
The first result of their collaboration is a original massive wood façade concept that gives architects and designers the freedom to personalise selected projects. They are not shy about integration and confrontation with other materials, so that both the architect and the end customer have more context, content and meaning at their disposal. The concept is a response to the demand for more fl exibility, different styles and changing requirements like the search for genuineness, authenticity and semi-bespoke work. In the future, the architect will be able to have an even greater influence on the form and content of his or her projects when using solid wood façade cladding. In this way, Outdoor Wood Concepts® sets out to remain a trendsetter.
